Following the recent announcement that RAMP Limited is supporting CPSL Mind in 2025, RAMP are delighted to share that RAMP’s Client Relationship Manager Josh Harrington-Turner took part in ‘56 Miles In February’ challenge.
The challenge is just as it sounds, either walking, jogging or running, by the end of February. The challenge is part of the national campaign run by National Mind. Mind says you don’t have to run like Forrest Gump to get moving for mental health. A light jog or walking the whole way counts too. By striving to meet those miles at whatever pace, you’ll do wonders for your own wellbeing too – physical activity can help relieve stress, build confidence and manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Reflecting on his achievements and the challenge, Josh Harrington-Turner, Client Relationship Manager at RAMP, said, “With the announcement of our partnership with CPSL Mind, I was keen to dive straight into the 56 miles challenge. Personally, the last few months have been extremely difficult for me with the loss of a dear friend and starting my journey with therapy. I haven’t always had the best relationship with my mental health, and taking on this challenge has really helped me.
“With the help of my good friend Stephen, I have smashed it. I think we forget it’s ok to take 5 minutes to walk, jog or run to reset and focus, it is a great way to distract yourself from the stresses of work/home, enjoy the fresh air and just breathe. It’s ok to not be ok, and that’s the biggest lesson I will take away from this. I am pleased to be a part of the February challenge and to raise money and awareness for CPSL Mind. This is the first of many events I will be doing this year! I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Speaking about CPSL Mind, Simon Young managing director RAMP said, “The team at RAMP take their responsibility to the community very seriously and I am delighted they have selected such a vital charity to support in 2025. Any money they raise, RAMP will match this throughout the year”.
