In December 2020, Beaumont Healthcare, a St Neots based   personal care service company, held a Family Bake Off contested between adults and children raising a total of £215 for us.

Roisin Fairbrass, HR Administrator from Beaumont Healthcare Ltd said, “We were keen to hold a mental health awareness week at work during December. We have around 100 carers and 30 office staff and  whilst we wanted to raise money for CPSL Mind, we also wanted to promote wellbeing and how to manage mental health in the workplace. We all had a great time baking and it definitely put a smile on the faces of everyone who took part.

The Bake Off Challenge was strongly contested featuring some incredible creations including delicious cupcakes and Christmas tree cakes. The top three were as follows:

1st Denise

2nd Krysta

3rd Sophie

Catherine Keating, our Community Fundraiser said, “The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting people’s mental wellbeing in many different ways and, in response to increased levels of anxiety, isolation and loneliness, we have adapted our existing services – and developed new ones. With demand for our services remaining high we are extremely grateful to Beaumont Healthcare for highlighting can improve wellbeing and reduce stress. The team helped to raise awareness and helped with funding for our services – a huge thank you to everyone involved.”
