Fundraise for us

Do you want to take on the challenge of a half marathon? A skydive? Or host a quiz? If you want to fundraise in Cambridgeshire, fundraise in Cambridge, fundraise in Peterborough or fundraise in South Lincolnshire, keep reading to find out how you can help us to support local people in their recovery from a range of mental health challenges.

While we are affiliated with national Mind, we are a separate, independently funded local charity and by fundraising for us you will be directly supporting local residents across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire.

Frequently asked questions

Please contact us via phone or email and we’d be happy to talk with you about your event and maybe even meet up for a coffee and advise how we can support.

Call our Fundraising and Events Co-Ordinator, Debbie Glonek, on 07712358173 or email Debbie.glonek@cpslmind.org.uk (Tues-Thurs)

Or contact our Fundraising and Communications Manager, Gary Sutcliffe, on 07706733540 or gary.sutcliffe@cpslmind.org.uk (Mon-Fri)

To raise awareness of your fundraising event, we can give you with a CPSL Mind bucket and collection tin and maybe even a CPSL Mind t-shirt.

Setting up a Just Giving page is a great way for your friends, family, colleagues and others to sponsor you and make a donation to your fundraising effort – and we here to help you. There are also other platforms such as GivenGain.

It’s quick and easy to do and all donations flow seamlessly into CPSL Mind’s bank account, so you don’t need to do anything. Please visit our CPSL Mind – JustGiving page and click on the Fundraise for us button to get your page set up.

The best pages are often the most personal ones so do please feel free to explain why you are doing your fundraising and what it means to you. To highlight the impact your fundraising will have, we can also send you facts and figures and testimonials from our crucial work, so please do just ask.

Sharing your Just Giving page far and wide, across your social media channels, is a great way to boost those donations and a Friday afternoon share is, evidence suggests, a good time to send it round.

If anyone wishing to support you wishes to scan to donate, you can create your very own QR code from your page. Simply add a /qrcode at the end of the URL in the address bar at the top to get your page’s unique code.

You can then print this off and display at your event.

If you wish to pay in your donations or any monies via bank transfer or cheque, please do let us know and we will happily share CPSL Mind’s bank details and office addresses.
