Reflecting on her role in the Information and Enquiries team, Ghazala said, “Since stepping into my role on January 2024, I have had the privilege of supporting people via our telephone through their challenges by offering a listening ear and connecting them with the services we provide. Where needed, I’ve also helped signpost to additional resources. I’ve been fortunate to work with supportive colleagues who have been so generous in reaching out and offering their help.
Ghazala
“It has been truly rewarding to simply be there for people, listening and helping them navigate difficult times. I will be here to support everyone in our diverse communities in 2025 and beyond. When I’m not supporting people in my role at CPSL Mind, I enjoy spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature, whether through reading, or simply soaking in the fresh air.”
Jill also joined the new Information and Enquiries team when it was created at the beginning of 2024. However, Jill joined the CPSL Mind team before that. “I was a Good Life Facilitator, supporting individuals in the community as well as facilitating Good Mood cafes and peer support groups, says Jill.
“We answer the main telephone line and all emails which come into the general enquiries’ inbox. Over the past year, the team has developed a comprehensive understanding of the different Services which CPSL Mind offers, so that we can signpost callers to the best support for their needs. We also maintain a file of community support information to share with individuals and our aim is to give a personal response to every enquiry. In 2025, we will continue to be here to listen to what’s going on for callers and discuss how CPSL Mind might support them with their mental health.
Jill
“ Outside of work, I enjoy sewing and crochet, geocaching and kayaking (when my dodgy hips allows!).”
The CPSL Mind enquiries telephone service
The Information and Enquiries service will close on Tuesday 24th December at 1:00pm and will re-open on 9:30am on Thursday 2nd January.
The Information and Enquiries line is not a listening or crisis service. Our aim is to find out what support our callers might benefit from and direct them to this, either within CPSL Mind or externally. If you leave a voicemail and ask us to call you back, we will aim to do this within two working days. We can’t call back unless requested to do so. Our email address is enquiries@cpslmind.org.uk
Here is the contact number for when the service re-opens:

The Good Life Service – Good Mood Cafes
The CPSL Mind Good Mood cafes and calm spaces will close over the festive break from Friday 20th December and our Good Mood Cafes will re-open on Monday 6th January 2025.
Good Life Service Manager, Mark Cooper, said, “Our Good Mood cafes provide an opportunity to meet new people to share interests, skills and wellbeing tips in an informal space to help boost your mood. The CPSL Mind website has a number of resources, such as how to develop your own wellbeing plan, which can really support you over the festive break. I would encourage people to reach out for support by accessing the contact information at the end of this blog and our team look forward to meeting and supporting people in our Good Mood cafes in the new year.”
