Run Everyone … and they did, raising over £9,000 for us

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in Cambridge’s first ever virtual run ‘Run Everyone’ and raised over £9,000 for us at CPSL Mind.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in Cambridge’s first ever virtual run ‘Run Everyone’ and raised over £9,000 for us at CPSL Mind.

During the month of March, organisers of the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon launched ‘Run Everyone’ as an initiative to get businesses and organisations across Cambridgeshire competing in a virtual event, whilst raising money for charity.

Anyone could take part, no matter their fitness level. The idea was to help regain a sense of community, whilst doing something good for both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Publishing in Stamford were one of the smallest teams in the entire field with just seven team members, but they still managed to run 801 miles between them and raise £675.

“It was a fantastic event to take part in,” said team captain Hans Seeberg. “One of our team only did her first couch-to-5K in February, and she ended up clocking 80 miles on her own! Having a great cause to run for really focused our minds – although now we all need a good lie down…”
