One of CPSL Mind’s corporate partners, The Sharman Quinney Group to play against the Stamford Lions Veterans in a charity football match.

One of CPSL Mind’s corporate partners, The Sharman Quinney Group will go head-to-head with the Stamford Lions Veterans in an exciting football match on Friday 24th May.

The team of estate agents are already in training for the match and the team can’t wait to play at the prestigious Peterborough United ‘POSH’ football ground.

All ticket proceeds and any donations on the day will go directly to CPSL Mind. Spectators are invited to secure their tickets in advance with a minimum donation of £5 available to purchase at any Sharman Quinney Branch leading up to the event.

There’s also the fantastic opportunity to win a signed football shirt and ball from the ‘POSH’ players!

Since supporting the charity in 2018, the Sharman Quinney Group has raised over £7,000 from taking part in fun runs, bake sales, raffles and lots more.

Managing Director, Chris Rowson of The Sharman Quinney Group, said, “We are delighted to announce the details of the charity football match, which promises to be a fantastic community event. The team has been eager to sign up and get involved and I’m sure there will be some friendly competition! Everyone is welcome to attend, and I hope you will join us to raise money for CPSL Mind. We feel incredibly proud to have collaborated with the charity and I look forward to continuing our strong partnership over the coming months.”

Gary Sutcliffe, Fundraising and Communications Manager at CPSL Mind, said, “I would like to thank The Sharman Quinney Group on all its fundraising achievements to date and CPSL Mind looks forward to welcoming everyone on the pitch. Good luck to both teams!”

Gates open from 5.30pm with kick off at 6pm, join for an evening of excitement, camaraderie and most importantly supporting the mental health of those in the local community.
